'Paul Kloecker' is a medium-sized, about 30 cm tall Echinodorus cultivar with elliptic leaves. Under intense lighting it develops a striking red pattern on the leaves.
As well as many other Echinodorus, 'Paul Kloecker' is a quite easy aquarium plant, however it benefits much from good lighting and a nutrient-rich bottom. It can be propagated by adventitious plantlets that develop on the occasionally appearing inflorescences.
With its moderate height, this swordplant cultivar is a magnificent solitary plant also in medium-sized tanks. With its red marbling, it provides a strong contrast to green plants.
